Injection Molding Technician

Responsibilities and Job Tasks: 1. Change molds, perform mold trials, and adjust machinery settings; 2. Conduct regular maintenance and upkeep of machines and molds; 3. Handle basic machine and mold repairs, as well as connect to utilities like electricity and water; 4. Ensure machines and work areas remain clean and tidy, maintaining 5S standards within the assigned area; 5. Prepare production reports, analyze defective products, and compile machine adjustment data sheets; 6. Coordinate with purchasing departments regarding orders, fulfill order specifications, arrange production schedules, and manage warehouse inbound processes; 7. Manage powder materials, prepare ingredients, load materials into machines, and dry materials as needed; 8. Properly store specification documents, approve samples, color samples, material usage records, and color-matching charts; 9. Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure production adheres to established quality standards; 10. Regularly inspect production quality throughout the shift; 11. Optimize machine performance to achieve the best possible production outcomes (both cycle time and product quality); 12. Supervise and train subordinate employees, including managing their manual attendance records and evaluating their performance for salary adjustments; 13. Work closely with engineering teams to confirm initial sample products; 14. Create and implement efficient production scheduling plans; 15. Minimize material waste during operations; 16. Complete tasks assigned by superiors promptly and effectively.
